Dr. Magdy S. Phillip is a graduate of Columbia University School of Dentistry in 1990.
He joined Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York for a residency program and advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD). He also was a clinical instructor for dental students junior class and assisted in the dental clinic teaching under the directorship of Dr. Steven Lepousky.
He also worked for 3 years as an associate with Dr. Lubetsky in 119 w 57th , New york, NY. Later, he opened a private practice in midtown, Manhattan for few years before settling permanently in freehold, NJ where he opened his practice in november 1995.
Dr. Phillip's philosophy is to provide dental health care that is painless, affordable and conscienceously higher quality. He believes that the difference between failure and success is the difference between rendering health care that is almost right versus giving care that is exactly and perfectly right by his patient dentally, financially and morally. With this philosophy in mind he strives for perfection in his dentistry.
Dr. Phillip is a member of the American Academy of Implantology and the American Academy of General Dentistry. Also, Dr Phillip is a certified provider for Invisalign, the most advanced clear orthodontic system.
Dr. Phillip appreciates the value of education and continued this efforts to give back to the community in the form of teaching dental residents at Monmouth Medical center in 1998 and 1999.
Dr. Vincent LaBruna was born in New York City, where his father was also an Orthodontist. He graduated New York University Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa in 1982, and graduated New York University Dental School in 1986. He attended a Dental Externship at Memorial Sloan Kettering for Oral Cancers in 1985. He attended a post-graduate program in Endodontics from 1986 to 1987. He also attended Columbia University and obtained his certificate in Orthodontics in 1989. In 2005 he became a Board Certified Orthodontist with the American Board of Orthodontics.
He has served as an Honorary Police Surgeon with the New York City Police Department. He is also an Honorary Medical Officer with the FDNY. Beginning in 1992 Vincent has worked with the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in New York City in their Dental Forensic Unit and the Anti-Mortem team which included service during 9/11/2001 and Flight 587 in November 2001 and the recovery efforts afterwards with the Red Cross.
Vincent has volunteered and served with Operation Blessing Disaster Services Response Team in New Orleans post Hurricane Katrina in 2007. He has served with the Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corp. “RAM” 3 times in Tennessee. He is active with the Monmouth County Cancer Coalition for Oral Cancer detection, and the Colgate Bright Smile Bright Futures Dental Van outreach program for children. He is a life-long member of the Community Mayors for special children, servicing handicapped and special needs children. Currently he is in service on weekends in the Military for the Soldier Readiness Program at Fort Dix and the Army National Guard in Sea Girt, NJ.
He joined us in 2016, and is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists and the New Jersey Dental Association for over 30 years.
